I started studying for the GMATs this weekend. It’s totally not fun. I took a practice test that took all of 4.5 hours (note that actual test is 3 hours, 10 minutes WITH essays…of which I didn’t do none) and still got a score that wouldn’t get me into the School of Hard Knocks MBA program. MATH IS HARD. Did anyone realize this? QUADRATIC EQUATIONS, SETS, VARIABLES???? When I took the GRE they were NOT this difficult. Also, logic escapes me. This should come as no surprise to people that have seen me justify binge drinking before a midterm. But then, you add in shit about climate change and business acumen and other big words and I just kind of lose it and pick all C’s.
Dammit! Why’d I take so long to think about grad school?
P.S. - Super excited about my Ratatat tix I got last week. All my Bklyn friends were no doubt over them by the end of college, but we learn about these things later in Seattle/Korea/Wherever I happen to be. So LEAVE IT.
